Secondly, it offers an additional food reserve in fondant, ensuring your bees have access to nourishment when resources are limited. - Our ventilated moisture box allows proper airflow throughout the hive during frigid winters.
- It features a two-compartment setup to effectively manage moisture levels. The bottom shim can be filled with fondant, serving as an additional reserve food source for your bees.
- Any moisture will condense on the fondant, keeping it moist and accessible for consumption. Once the fondant is consumed, any remaining moisture will be absorbed by the cedar chips or wood chips placed in the upper compartment.
- For best results, fill the upper compartment with cedar chips up to the bottom of the ventilation holes.
